Hi, I am father of twin daughters - Shazia and Naureen. They are 4 + as of now. We are based in Kolkata. We participated in Twins festival in Mojiang China during April end 2011 and are intending to participate once again next year. Please mail me your recent photographs along with other details like age, hobbies etc. Basically, they want to see the mix of different cultures in this event and some sort of performance - if you can give on the stage - may be once or twice, it would be a vital aspect to get qualified for the trip. Its been happening since 7 years and first time Indians participated in this event when I went with my family. I had to pay for all my expenses though. They will sponsor only the twins (airfare + Visa + Food + Stay + transportation) and above all lot of Chinese media coverage and lots of gifts. I agree with you, I have the same experience with my twins. Now they are in different classes from last 1 year and they are doing better than before.
performance is improved aswell...

Hello All, 
This is one of the most important aspect of Twins School or College life
I hope you all agree with me that one of the twin will be little bit more wiser than the other.
In that case the other one feels over shaded most of the time in the class room or college canteen and amongst friends also, if they have common friends
My experience says that if the they sits in different sections/Class room they will get more confidence and individuality. That inferiority Complex never creeps in.
In my case we use to sit in the small class till 5th Standard, i was a bit weaker in studies, then our school teachers decided to put us in different sections/Class room.
which really helped

Thats true people do compare sp when they are of same age.... but they shdn't be doing in front of kids...
recently sombody asked me " do u recognise difference between other twins?" thats interesting, well the answer is some times yes & some times no, as an oberservation the main difference is the younger one is mostly chubbier and bigger than elder one as per my twins & i found the same difference in others too....
so now i can understand why others can not recognise my twins differences in looks...

The worst part, people always says to my parents ... one of ur twin is good... other one little dull....

Many a times we have fooled either of our teachers during our schooling, even we have played some cricket tournaments wherein one of us used to bat who was strong in batting & the other used to bowl.
We have even fooled the Ticket chequers quite often during our college days & travelled on a single ticket. :-)
